Câu trả lời mẫu cho câu hỏi: What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a celebrity?
One of the very obvious advantages of being famous is that celebrities get preferential treatment wherever they go. For example, they get special tables at restaurants or special seats at theatres. They are given preferred entry at nightclubs and the first row seats at award functions. Another great benefit of being famous is that being famous generally means being richer. I mean luxurious homes and cars, fancy gifts, expensive clothes and other materialistic pleasures of life become a reality when people become celebrities. Plus, celebrities are recognized wherever they go. At first, this makes them experience a massive ego boost. Of course, later they suffer from being followed all day round, but at first, most people enjoy being in the centre of attention. Finally, being famous definitely opens many doors in life which would have remained shut if fame hadn’t been achieved. Because of this, many celebrities become entrepreneurs as soon as they achieve stardom because they can easily promote any business they invest in. However, being famous has not only benefits, but also a number of disadvantages. First of all, and, to my mind, that’s the biggest disadvantage of all, celebrities have no privacy. That’s why they can’t do things that an average person can do like having a quiet dinner with family or friends at a local restaurant, lying on the beach without being taken pictures of or going for an uninterrupted walk or a bicycle ride. What’s more, famous people are often harassed by phone, email, or mail by fans or followers who cross the line and become obsessed. And I suppose it’s scary.
