Absolutely! Good teachers instill in students a passion for knowledge, a love of understanding and confidence. They make learning a fascinating challenge motivating and inspiring students in classes. They make students aware of abilities they don’t know they have and help them see the relevance of what they are learning by giving practical examples. Though, I’m sure there are students who don’t need good teachers for their positive learning experience if these students are interested in the subject, motivated enough and can have progress without anybody’s guidance.
